Born and raised in the small northern Ontario town of Smooth Rock Falls, Rox Anne grew up in a francophone family where French and English cultures naturally intertwined. At just seven years old, she confidently told her mother she would become a singer, and she’s been chasing that dream ever since—performing at regional and provincial francophone contests while honing her songwriting skills alongside established artists.
In 2017, Rox Anne moved to Ottawa to advance her career and seize greater opportunities in the music industry. 5 years ago, a life-changing opportunity came when she performed with her idols—Tyler Hilton, Wakey Wakey, and Mike Gossin—at a One Tree Hill convention in Wilmington, NC. That experience reignited her passion and pushed her to new heights.
In 2022, Rox Anne released her debut EP, which brought her major success, including a song that hit #1 on the radio twice. Over the past two years, she’s focused on songwriting, expanding her network, and connecting with audiences through intimate performances. New music is coming in spring of 2025, stay tuned.
